Scam Alert

It has come to our attention that there is a debit card scam involving cell phones occurring.  The scam involves an automated call to your cell phone and informs you that there has been a problem with your card.  The call proceeds to ask for your debit card number and the three digit security code located on the back of your debit card.

If you receive such a call, this is a scam and you should not give out such information.  If you have already received this call and have provided this information, please contact the bank immediately so we can address this issue.

To ensure you keep your identity safe from fraud, never provide information such as your debit or credit card number over the phone.  If First National Bank should need to call you in reference to your debit card we will always first identify ourselves and our company.  Secondly, we will never ask you to provide this information to us as we already have your debit card information on file.  If you are ever in doubt in such a situation, do NOT provide the information.
